Prof. Dr. Jürg Glauser

Jürg Glauser is Professor for Nordic Philology at the Scandinavian Studies Department of the University of Basel and at the German Department of the University of  Zurich. His main research interests are in Scandinavian medieval and early modern literatures and in Icelandic literature.

 

Prof. Dr. Klaus Müller-Wille

Klaus Müller-Wille is professor for Nordic Philology at the German Department of the University of Zurich. His main research interests are in Scandinavian Romanticism and Scandinavian Avant-gardes.

Beatrice Casparis

Beatrice Capsaris is coordinator at the German Department of the University of  Zurich (Nordic Philology).

Nathalie Christen, MA

Nathalie Christen (MA) is a PhD student and research assistant for Nordic Philology at the chair of Professor Müller-Wille. Her main research interests are in modern and contemporary Scandinavian literature and concepts of collective memory.

lic.phil. Matthias Hauck

Matthias Hauck is a lecturer and coordinator in the Scandinavian Studies Department of the University of Basel. His research interests are early modern cartography and Scandinavian film.

Johannes Hunziker, MA

Johannes Hunziker (MA) is a PhD student and research assistant at the chair of Professor Klaus Müller-Wille. His main field of research is modern Scandinavian literature, especially the authorship of Meïr Aron Goldschmidt Louis Levy.

Dr. des. Sarah Künzler

Sarah Künzler has just received her PhD from the University of Zurich and is currently looking for PostDoc projects. Her main research interests are in Old Norse-Icelandic literature (particularly the original riddarasögur) and early Irish literature, with a special focus on portrayals of the human body.

lic.phil. Ulrike Marx

Ulrike Marx is scientific librarian in the Scandinavian Studies Department of the University of Basel. DaF teacher and interested in scandinavian lexicography.

Mgr. Marie Novotná

Marie Novotná is a PhD student and assistant at Charles University in Prague as well as translator from Scandinavian languages. For this semester she is working in Zurich at the chair of Professor Jürg Glauser. Her main field of research is Old Norse literature, especially concept of the body.

Dr. Anna Katharina Richter

Anna Katharina Richter has a PhD from the University of Zurich and is working as a coordinator and senior assistant at the Scandinavian studies Department at the University of Zurich. Her main research interests are Late medieval and Early modern vernacular Scandinavian Literature and Faroese Literature.

Dr. des. Lukas Rösli

Lukas Rösli is a post-doctoral research assistant at the Scandinavian Studies Department of the University of Basel. His main research interests are in medieval Scandinavian literature, Old Norse mythology and spatial literary studies.

lic.phil. Sandra Schneeberger

Sandra Schneeberger is a Phd student and assistant at the German Department of the University of  Zurich. Her main research interests are in medieval Scandinavian literature, media studies and literary performativity.
